▍ ❝   BACKGROUND. _{my brave little spark.}
Born in year 1555 of the Sixth Astral Era to a small tribe of Keepers nestled within the Dravanian Forelands comprised of Kiht’s family and three others, Kiht was the youngest of four siblings - just secords after her twin brother. The tribe, who had historically helped found the settlement of Tailfeather, mainly comprised of chocobo trappers and breeders. While her upbringing was not the most traditional to a Keeper - her father not taking up the traditional wanderer’s role - she was still raised as a devout follower of Menphina and primed as a matriarch. Her mother, Aijh, was the matriarch of their small tribe - named “Urha Tribe” after Kiht’s grandmother - and encouraged all children of the tribe to find something to specialize in, in hopes to make Tailfeather a larger trading port on the map. Archery, leatherwork and preparing pelts were taught to all children, with the occasional lance training from the menfolk when not on hunting trips or traveling to trade.
As a child, Kiht mainly stuck by her elder sisters, Tahla and Hawu, and another young girl in the tribe, Qina. Kiht and Qina were mainly inseparable, other members of the tribe often finding the two nearby the river, smearing mud and clay on each other's faces to mimic traditional war paint in an attempt to join hunts. Tailfeather grew and more hunters and traders passed through, Kiht and her siblings would start to trade with more craftsmen. It was there her older sister, Hawu, would trade a bear pelt for a pair of bronze ear cuffs she would later gift to their father, sparking an interest in goldsmithing in Hawu.Sixth Astral Era, 1572. At 17 summers, Kiht was a well versed hunter. At the odd insistence of her mother, Kiht joined a hunting trip with her father and siblings, across the dense canopies of the Forelands. Despite the thick branches up ahead, the five miqo’te watched the sky turn red and felt the world tremble and shatter as Bahamut raged across Eorzea. Taking shelter where they could, Koh’to and Tahla holding the younger miqo’te back so as to not get caught in the destruction as the entrance to the cave was blocked by the rubble. The family stayed trapped in the cave for days, surviving on the prey that they had previously caught. By day 5, Koh’to, Tahla and Aijh’a had managed to move the rubble and the five were able to rush back to Tailfeather. There was nothing to come back to.Seventh Umbral Era, Year 1. 18 summers now, Kiht and her family had worked tirelessly to at least rebuild some of their previous home. Still hunting what they could, the draconian population of the Forelands had become more frantic and hostile now, attacking travelers more often. Koh’to would often stand guard while the women would trade with the scant passerby, but their now single family tribe could barely make any trades due to the rising perception of poachers Keepers had. Prey and business dwindling, Aijh’a was the first to leave Dravania, saying he was going off to a city called Limsa Lominsa with a Hyur he met. Hawu followed soon after, wanting to learn more about goldsmithing. Tahla, Koh’to and Kiht stayed behind and gradually more hunters came back to settle down, Tailfeather becoming populated with Hyur and Elezen. While Tahla did most of the trading and speaking, assuming the more traditional role of matriarch, Kiht and Koh’to would often set traps and hunt.Seventh Astral Era, Year 3. The dragons growing more restless and hostile, Koh’to and Kiht are confronted with one of Nidhogg’s brood during a hunting trip. Pushing his daughter out of the way, Koh’to was snapped up in the dragon’s jaws, lifeless body dangling in front of Kiht. An echo flashing her back to the events of the calamity, Kiht stood frozen as the dragon ate her father. Saved by Tahla as the Echo held her focus, Kiht was convinced to stay in Tailfeather until she was ready to leave. A new hatred grew in the young woman's chest, fury towards the monsters who killed her father, who drove away her family, who killed her tribe. The young Keeper made up her mind to follow not only in her father's footsteps as a lancer, but to use her newfound skills to make sure no family is ever torn apart by dragons again.Seventh Astral Era, Year 5. Unable to enter Ishgard, Kiht made her way to Gridania on a carriage with a pair of mysterious twins.

▍ ❝   A REALM REBORN.
Adjusting to the opposite sleep schedule can take quite a toll. Initially only in Gridania to join the lancer’s guild, Kiht caught the eye of Yda and Papalymo, accepting their request to meet with Minfilia. Weighing her options, Kiht joined the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, though was not incredibly invested in their dealings. In this new world she now lived in, gil was a necessity to protect herself. The information that the Scions gave her about the Echo that plagued her was irreplaceable, along with her newfound security. After the defeat of Ifrit, it started to become clear to Kiht that this was not just something temporary. Compelled by Raubahn’s speech at the remembrance service, Kiht joined the Immortal Flames. Defeating one more Primal, the Keeper desperately wished to set her sights on Ishgard once more.After the raid on the Waking Sands, Kiht started to dedicate her studies towards conjuration alongside the art of the lance. Working with Alphinaud and Cid to retrieve the Enterprise and rescue their friends, Alphinaud began to teach Kiht how to read. Getting caught up in the affairs of Ishgard and enraged at being accused of heresy, Kiht meets Haurchefant, and they quickly strike up a friendship.

▍ ❝   HEAVENSWARD.

▍ ❝   STORMBLOOD. _{you are in over your head, my friend.}
-gains scar over abdomen after second encounter with Zenos. was put out of commission for a while due to this
-also gains scar over right eye, though eye was undamaged.

▍ ❝   SHADOWBRINGERS. _{if you had the strength to take another step, would you do it?}
-prolonged light sickness drains pigment from her eyes, leaving her sight intact
-removes her left eye in an attempt to stop light sickness from spreading. eye is covered with an eyepatch.
-stops painting her face with war paint - feeling a disconnect with her culture since heavensward. still following menphina, but doubtful.
-relationship with exarch is very rocky. while she is willing to help, she is not happy with his actions, no matter how sorry he is.
-bonded very closely with Feo Ul

-hair grows long enough between shadowbringers and endwalker to put up in a ponytail. left eye still covered by an eyepatch.
-cid gifts her wtih a magitek eye prosthetic, she infuses it with her own aether to assist with sight.
-cuts hair short again midway through endwalker
-reunites with her older sister, Hawu, in Old Sharlayan. Hawu is a goldsmith working on commission for the Forum.
